Answer:

Write about your passions, your fears, a family member...or something based on that. If you like romance write about someone's affair over the summer....or if you'd rather horror write about a girl who turned into a doll and now stalks the family.

TITLE: The Reaper

All original content, took about 20 min, plz correct if needed. :)

"Thump! The car jolted around the old dirt road leading to Gothenburg. I wasn't caring about the road. The only thing i cared about was getting home. It was 12:00 PM when 'It' happened. Suddenly I heard a tire deflate, and the car came to a stop. I look around in my car and get the flashlight I brought in the glove department. Opening my door was the loudest screech in the quietest of parts of the country. I turn to look at the tires, they are all flat! Almost like someone dropped a bucket of nails. I walk down the road to investigate. There is a strip of barbed wire along the road. Like someone doesn't want me here. I walk back to the car to call my husband and tell him what happened, but when I came, the car's hood was open. I walk around it with my flashlight on. Nothing is in my car anymore. The engine, and the battery, gone. I scramble back into the car to get my cellphone. It has no signal. Climb a tree, I thought. And so I did. I climbed the tree that was near the road. nearing the top, I hear something screeching against metal. I turn around to see a black hunched over silhouette of a man. I scream at him to stop, but all he does is turn around and look at me. He looks at me for minutes. Then his eyes start to glow red. He walks to the tree and uses his long claws to claw away at the bark on the tree. All I can do is scream. Screaming doesn't work. The tree bends towards the road, and SNAP! The tree goes down with me and I hit the car. I didn't wake up. I couldn't move. I can't do anything but cry. Cry with the pain of a tree on my dead carcass. I wake up, despite being dead, i felt alive. I'm on a hard bed. that is in a room that smells with blood. I sit up and smell the aroma around me. I start to feel change in my body. All my cells started to change. I looked at my hands, I wasn't human anymore. My body goes limp, but lets me move again after I hear cursing outside. I look out the nearest window and see a man in a suit, standing in front of a car, looking upset. Something in my said "KILL... HIM..." I didn't know what I was doing, but I jumped out the window and crawled after the person. He looked at me, and went up in tears, he was screaming and fidgeted with a gun that was pointed right at me. I jumped and grabbed his body and ate it. Whenever I did, I was in Gothenburg Institute of Mental Wellness. I was informed by a doctor that I had many seizures and comas since my recovery after my body was found in the public park. I am Sofia Korman, I am 43, I have 3 children, and I am 'The Reaper'

Proofread the following extracts and correct any errors in verb tenses.
blagie [28]
1- The ancient Chinese board game “Go” is invented long before there was any writing to record its rules. A game from the impossibly distant past has now brought us closer to a moment that once seemed part of an impossibly distant future: a time when machines are cleverer than we are.

Because it's an action that started and finished in the past, this should read was (Simple Past)

2- For years, Go was considered the last redoubt against the march of computers. Machines might win at chess, draughts, Othello, three-dimensional noughts and crosses, Monopoly, bridge, and poker. Go, though, is different.

This continues the same line of mistake as the first paragraph. Because it's referencing something that already happened ("Go was considered...), this should read was (Simple Past).

The game required intuition, strategising and character reading, along with vast numbers of moves and permutations. According to legend, it was invented by a Chinese emperor to teach his subjects balance and patience: qualities unique to human intelligence.

The conjunction and is used before the last element in a list. In this case, this word should be substituted by a comma because character reading is not the last element on that list.

3- This week, though, a computer called Alpha Go defeats the world’s best player of Go. It did so by “ learning” the game, crunching through 30 million positions from recorded matches, reacting and anticipating. It evolves as a player and taught itself.

That single game of Go marks a milestone on the road to the “technological singularity”, the moment when artificial intelligence becomes capable of self-improvement and learns faster than humans can control or understand.

These should read defeated ... evolved. This continues the same line of thought on subject-verb agreement. If it's talking about a past event, and the rest of the paragraph sustains that idea, then these verbs should be in Simple Past.

Most teens believe that their social networking sites have little impact, positive or negative, on their social and emotional we
Veseljchak [2.6K]

The detail that supports an argument that technology brings some teens together because it improves their social lives is “[f]ifteen to 30 percent of teens . . . reported feeling less shy, more outgoing, more self-confident, more popular”.

The paragraph starts with the topic, first, it refers to teens who do not feel social networks change their social lives. Second, it refers to those who claim social media has a positive effect on their social lives and, finally, it refers to those teens who feel social media has a negative impact on their lives.

The sentence “[f]ifteen to 30 percent of teens . . . reported feeling less shy, more outgoing, more self-confident, more popular” belongs to the second aspect described. That is to say, it is supporting the claim about the positive impact of social media in teens' lives.

The other options are not correct because the first one is the topic sentence, and the last option is a negative effect of social networks on teens' lives.
