Answer:

Core samples provide us with actual samples rocks from inside Earth.  They are considered direct evidence of the Earth-s interior. Seismic waves are a form of energy that travels through or across Earth and helps scientists infer what is inside  Earth. They are indirect evidence.

Explanation:

Core samples are direct evidence of what is inside the Earth because they take a direct sample of the rocks that make up the layers of the Earth-s surface and core. Geological core samples can indicate to researchers variations in weather patterns and climate changes through time. There can also be evidence of species and and the sedimentary composition of lake beds and rivers for example. Core samples provide direct evidence of the dynamic nature of the Earth's formation and how it changes through time. Seismic waves help to tell where there are variations in the Earth's composition. Geologists can study seismograms to discern about the different content of the Earth's internal structure like which parts are solid, molten or composed of gases.

How was the Arizona-Sonoran region developed a separate identity that is neither American nor Mexican?
Valentin [98]

Answer:

Arizona and Sonora share the same ecosystem, the Sonoran Desert region. They share common history, several Native American tribes on both sides of the border, and they have six border twin towns. The natural boundary is 361 miles long and it has never been a totally closed border. Arizona needed Sonora's miners and ranchers and they have been the biggest source of migrants to the USA.

Because of the constant flow of people across the border, the Arizona-Sonora region developed its own separate identity. Many people living there are bilingual and commute daily to the other side of the border for work. Their value system has been affected by the proximity of a different culture. As a result of that, intercultural and interracial mixing took place that created a generation of people who feel a connection to both countries at the same time. Prejudices have been reduced and stereotypes abolished.

The interdependence between the USA and Mexico has always been and still is business related. Starting with vegetables trading, the cross border shopping and manufacturing developed into big industry today. A major economy connection has developed through the maquiladora sector. Arizona based companies operate about 30% of maquiladoras in Sonora and Sonora's economy is dependent on this and the automobile industry in Arizona.

Cross-border shopping, tourism ( for pleasure and medical reasons), joined environmental projects, bilingual schools and cultural events are all parts of the interdependence between the two countries.

svp [43]

Answer:

Culture has the ability to shape three types of interactions for members of a group: interactions between group members, outside of members, and with the environment. When it comes to interactions between each other, people in a culture are taught at a young age what is acceptable and what is not acceptable. For example, kids observe and practice how close to stand to somebody else. They learn appropriate greetings when they start conversations. They are also given direct instruction on how to interact at school and with adults within the society. Cultural differences or similarities with other groups can dictate interactions with outside groups. When different cultural groups find similarities, they often have positive interactions with one another. If they do not have much in common, each group must take some time to learn about the other group, and they must learn how to interact and compromise with each other. Culture can also have a large impact on how people interact with their environment. This can include how to build structures to adapt to climate differences, how traditions are practiced, and what clothing styles are worn.
