Read the excerpt from "The Story of a Warrior Queen." At last the Roman leader was so downcast with his many defeats that he wen
xenn [34]

The action that best supports the idea that Boadicea is a warrior is the last option:

Boadicea tells the Roman leader that she will speak with her sword.

This option clearly shows that Boadicea has no intention to talk with the Roman leader, because she believes that to surrender is dishonorable for a warrior and the last thing a British would do. That is the reason why she says:

‘You shall have peace, peace, but no submission. A British heart will choose death rather than lose liberty’

She affirms that to her, the only course of action a warrior is to fight, therefore, the fact that the Roman leader approaches with a sign of peace acting as a coward, seems unconceivable for her. Boadicea considers that she is a warrior above all, her only option is to fight and under no circumstances will she speak to an enemy to settle a dispute peacefully. In conclusion, Boadicea is directly proclaiming that the only option available to her is to fight, until the last consequences and the fact that the Romans are enemies and nothing will change that.

16. Collaborative Conversation: How does McGonigal use claims, evidence, and reasoning together to produce an argument? w might
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

She makes claims based on behavior that are easily visible today and based on historical facts. This provides evidence for the concepts she is claiming to be occurring. This relationship between statements and facts allows it to reason and create a concrete, correct and correct argument.

Explanation:

This question is about the article "Reality Is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World" by Jane McGonigal, where she makes a deep and plausible reflection on the increasingly real possibility of human beings exchanging real world we live in for the virtual world.

McGonigal makes a series of efficient and well-constructed arguments, full of affirmations based on historical and current facts. This shows how the author knows how to use reasoning in a timely manner, creating a coherent and fluid text.
