High frequency electromagnetic waves are more energetic. For all electromagnetic wave the greater the frequency the lower the wave length. This is a fact, even high frequency electromagnetic can carry information per unit time than low frequency wave.
Longer wavelengths have a lower frequency and <em>short wavelength has higher frequency </em>as you can observe in the image I added. This also means that a<em> higher frequency is more energetic</em> than a lower one.

The word inconspicuous means not clearly visible, or not obvious. I figured this would be the meaning, considering birds would want to keep hidden from predators, so they would stay somewhere not clear and camouflaged.
