Question

I don't necessarily need help with doing the assignment part, but just the instructions. I have no freaking clue what the heck they're asking me to do and its making me go crazy. I guess I need help with understanding this assignment? I am not even sure. Can someone just explain it to me better than this?
Instructions:

You already watched the video blog about Marisa and her friend Andrea. You saw how Marisa used rephrasing in the video to help Andrea understand her.

For example: In the video, our blogger said:

Marisa: No Andrea, no estoy mal. Tampoco estoy triste.

Andrea: ¿Qué?

Marisa: Estoy bien, pero tengo mucho calor.

Now, imagine that you are the one having the conversation with Andrea. Read the following dialogue and rephrase your sentences by using the estar and tener expressions from this lesson to help Andrea better understand what you are trying to express.

You: “No estoy bien.”

Andrea: “¿Qué?”

You: (To help Andrea better understand what you are trying to express, rephrase your statement .)

You: “Estoy emocionado (or emocionada).”

Andrea: “Emocionado ( or emocionada). “¿Qué? No entiendo.”

You: (To help Andrea better understand what you are feeling, use a different TENER or ESTAR feelings phrase that is similar to the feeling stated.)

1. You: “No estoy bien.”;  This is ok.

2. Andrea: “¿Qué?”;         ?Qu(e) tienes mi amiga, la influenza?

3. You: (To help Andrea better understand what you are trying to express, rephrase your statement .);  Ay Andrea, ten(i)a esta influenza desde ayer y todav(i)a estoy enferma. Por eso no estoy bien.

4. You: “Estoy emocionado (or emocionada).”; Andrea, estoy muy emocionada porque mis padres se van a divorciarse este verano. Estoy muy triste con su decisi(o)n.  Yo tengo una tristeza horible.

5. Andrea: “Emocionado ( or emocionada). “¿Qué? No entiendo.”;  ?No me entiendes?  Mis padres van a separarse. No tendr(e) una familia completa en la casa. Tenemos que vivir una semana con mi padre y una semana con mi madre.

Put an accent on the vowels that are in parenthesis. i hope this works. I did not get these weird directions either.  Buena Suerte amigo!
