I have trouble believing Mr. Sawicki's characterization of Steve, because he knows Steve only in school. Since Mr. Sawicki does

not know Steve outside of school, he cannot make a judgment about what Steve has been doing in his neighborhood or who his friends are. Sawicki says Steve is honest, but even if Steve is good or honest in Mr. Sawicki's opinion, good people can still make mistakes.
What did you consider when you were writing your answer? Check all that apply.

what Mr. Sawicki says
what other people say
whether Steve is guilty or innocent
what Steve has said

what Mr. Sawicki says

Answer: Option A.

Explanation:

The excerpt which has been given here is the explanation of what Mr Sawicki used to think of Steve. This is the characterization that Mr Sawicki gave of Steve in his own words.

But this characterization of Mr Sawicki can not be believed because he only knows him when he is in school and he has no idea about the life of Steve outside the school, giving him no right to judge Steve or his friends or how he is.

How are prefixes and suffixes alike? Select two options. Both are a type of affix. Both are the root of a word. Both can change
QveST [7]

Answer:

Both are a type of affix.

Both can change a word's meaning.

Explanation:

Prefixes and suffixes are both types of affixes. An affix is something that is placed at the beginning or end of a word to modify its meaning. The suffix /-ology/ can be added to a root word to change the meaning to /the study of/ whatever the word is. The prefix /de/ can be added to a root to indicate that something is going down; /a/ can be added to show it is going up. For example, the words ascend and descend use these prefixes to show where something is going.
