Answer:

E. suggests that the speaker's vocabulary is limited

Explanation:

The question above is related to the poem entitled "Sestina: Like," written by A.E. Stallings. It is a fixed verse type of poem which consists of six stanzas. Every stanza has six lines.

The repetition of versions of the word "like" at the end of the lines allows the poem to focus on its subject matter. This allows the central concept of the poem to be unified. It also shows that the poet used the word "like" as a play on words because it provides "humor" to what is happening in the society today.

So, this concludes that using the word "like" doesn't mean the poet has a limited vocabulary.

Thus, this explains the answer.

A cognitive psychologist conducts a study to examine differences in cognitive functioning across stages of adulthood. He opts to

A cognitive psychologist conducts a study to examine differences in cognitive functioning across stages of adulthood. He opts to study one group of young adults ages 21-28. one group of middle-aged adults aged 41-48, and one group of older adults ages 61- 68- The psychologist finding that that the middle age group outperforms the older group is a valid criticism to the study's conclusion

Explanation:

A cognitive psychologist concludes that age relates to cognitive performance on these tasks. This statement means that as a person age's its ability to perform the cognitive task declines .In the study conducted between the various age group the cognitive psychologist where able to find that the people in their middle age (i.e. between 41-48) were able to perform the cognitive task is a better way than the people in the older group. and the younger group was able to perform the cognitive task much better than the middle and the old age group.

Now their is no need for the comparison of the middle age and the old age people for performing the task because as er the conclusion the cognitive skills decline with the age.

So,the psychologist finding that that the middle age group outperforms the older group is a valid criticism to the study's conclusion

Why are supply chain checks done on chocolate companies?
dalvyx [7]

Answer: For the sake of business success.

Explanation:

These types of controls are not unique to companies that distribute chocolate products. Supply chain management involves the management of all activities, information, knowledge and financial resources in the processes of converting purchased materials, such as raw materials into semi-finished or finished products, including the further distribution of these products to end customers. Thus, the success of a business will depend on the efficiency and consistency of all processes within the supply chain.
