Because of the fact they were orphans, they didn't have any other family or a place to go. He was a fatherly figure to them, who took them in, took care of them, loved them as his own children, educated them, and raised them.

Explanation:

Uncle Terenty, as Fyokla called him on the story " A Day in The Country by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, is a population cobbler, whom to Fyokla and to his colleague Danilka, are a father and someone that they can trust.

Terenty attended the two because they are orphans with no shelter and with no one to go to. It was him who included, cared, and fed them without the two understanding. He presented as a father whom they can ask about the wonders of nature. It was him who made the two foundlings live for a reason. He was their helper, their father, and their trusted friend.

When it comes to setting, why might the author of a utopian novel choose a mountaintop or the bottom of the ocean? Why might thi
Sidana [21]

Answer:

The reader will get a sense of wonder or fantasy from these kinds of locations.

Explanation:

Your average reader probably doesn't live at the bottom of the ocean, so this kind of setting can feel almost fantastical, which can be good for a utopian story, but not so great for dystopia. Many authors of dystopian stories want their readers to get a sense of "this is how <em>my</em> society could be" or to draw clear connections with the world they already experience.

It's easier for the average reader to make connections to their own life when the dystopian story takes place in a city or other setting that they have, in some way, experienced.

Select ALL the correct text in the passage.
ki77a [65]

Answer: The two lines that best support this claim are - "knot's untied that made us one" and "God grant to yours and you".

Explanation:

The theme of Anne Bradstreet's poem<em> " Before the Birth of One of Her Children"</em> is that people cannot avoid death, and should spend this valuable time on Earth in a best way possible.

At the time the poem was written, religion was very important. Christianity was, according to the settlers, superior to all other religions. It is, therefore, not surprising that the literature in the colonial era often contains religious references. These are also included in Bradstreet's poems, in which God is frequently referred to.

a0 is the punishment in Dante’s Hell which resembles or contrasts the sin in which the person created while on Earth.
Vitek1552 [10]

Answer:

Estige, the river of boiling blood, is the punishment in Dante's Inferno that resembles or contrasts the sin in which the person created while on Earth.

Explanation:

At the entrance to the fifth circle of hell is a waterfall of bubbling, boiling water and blood whose water was darker than purple. The water descends some beaches and forms a lake called Styx, where the accused are accosted with rage, who are together beating themselves and torturing themselves in an endless rage. At the bottom of the Styx are the spiteful ones who never showed their anger; they can not rise to the surface and stay in the mud at the bottom of the river, releasing the bubbles that are seen on the surface.
