QR=2.93
RS=2.04
QS=2.28
Add these together to get the perimeter of 7.25...
 then use the sides to help you out
BY TAKING QS (2.28)  and doubling that to be 4.56 which gives you the length of line segment XY.
RS doubled is 4.08 which is the line segment XW.
QR doubled is 5.58; line segment WY.
Add all 3 values to get 14.22 CM.

Answer: Perimeter of ΔWXY is given by

XW+XY+WY\\=4.04+4.56+5.86\\=14.46 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

QR=2.93cm\\RS=2.04cm\\QS=2.28cm

By using Mid point theorem, "if line joining the midpoints of the any two sides , then this line becomes parallel to the third side and it becomes half of the third side".

So here , if consider firstly Q  and R are mid-points of XW and XY then,

QR║WY so,

WY= 2\times QR\\WY=2\Ttimes 2.93\\WY=5.86cm

Similarly,

QS║XY so,

XY=2\times QS\\XY=2\times 2.28\\XY=4.56cm

Similarly,

RS║XW, so

XW=2\times RS\\XW=2\times 2.04\\XW=4.04cm

Perimeter of ΔWXY is given by

XW+XY+WY\\=4.04+4.56+5.86\\=14.46 cm

There were 125 females and 100 males present at the high school pep rally. Find the ratio of males to the total number of people
riadik2000 [5.3K]
Total number of people = 125 + 100 = 225

Number of males = 100

Set as ratio

100:225

Simplify to 4:9 (can not simplify further without having decimals but you can’t have half a person)

Sven is trying to find the maximum amount of time he can spend practicing the five scales of piano music he is supposed to be wo
Katena32 [7]

Answer:

He should spend 3 minutes or less on each scale

Sven made a mistake in the symbol of inequality, placing lesser or equal instead of greater or equal

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

t ------> is the number of minutes he spends on each scale

Remember that the phrase "at least"  is equal to "greater than or equal"

so

The inequality that represent this scenario is

70-5t \geq 55

solve for t

-5t \geq 55-70

-5t \geq -15

Multiply by -1 both sides

5t \leq 15

Divide by 5 both sides

t \leq 3

Sven is incorrect

He should spend 3 minutes or less on each scale

Sven made a mistake in the symbol of inequality, placing lesser or equal instead of greater or equal
