Locations won by Allied - Philippines, Coral Sea, Guadalcanal

Locations won by Japanese - Indonesia, Singapore

Explanation:

Japan invaded Indonesia with the intention to get hold on raw materials, especially oil which was there in Sumatra and Kalimantan. Japanese rules Indonesia from 1942-1945. They surrendered in August 1945.

After two atomic bombs were dropped on Japan, they surrendered Singapore on 12th September 1945 to US military.

The battle of Philippines was won by Allied party. This war was fought in 1944-1945. This marked end of Second Philippine Republic and their liberation from Japanese.

The war of Coral Sea won by Allied in 1942. This battle involved both naval and air forces. In this battle both sides saw large scale loss of their forces. Japanese also won many provinces in this battle but lastly it was won by Allied.

Guadalcanal was won by Allied around 1942. This victory marked the start of Allied operations in Pacific. This was a military campaign in which Allied won against Japanese Empire.

How does the cartoonist's treatment of the cooper and the plumber suggest that their actions are not "knightly"?
Lemur [1.5K]

Answer:

The treatment that the cartonist gives to cooper and plumber is rude and inelegant.

Explanation:

The cartonist behaves in a bad manner, petty, inelegant and impolitic. He shows that he is a very uncomfortable person and does not mind humiliating and devaluing others.

This behavior shows that the cartonist does not have "chivalrous" actions and acts in a somewhat rude and inappropriate manner, which prevents us from seeing him as an educated, delicate person with a profile closer to what is considered a gentleman.

Jews were severely persecuted following the fall of this nation to the German army ?
Svetllana [295]
If I had to guess, I'd say Poland. Poland was one of the first countries conquered. It was taken over by the Germans and Soviets in a fortnight. The Jewish population in Poland was about 3.3 million prior to WWII, and about 80,000 after WWII. Most Poles you'll meet today are Catholic; about 95% of the Polish population today is Catholic.
