Answer:

Species Diversity - it alludes to the proportion of decent variety in the environmental network and the various species present in the network ie species wealth.

Genetic Diversity - the decent variety which happens because of the nearness of the distinction in hereditary material among the person. It helps in separating between two close family members. Eg-human facial, stature, shading and so forth.

Ecosystem Diversity- the contrast between the life form contingent upon the particular environment they live or are available is called natural decent variety.. Eg - Marine environment , earthly biological system and so forth.

Biological Diversity - contrasts between the living being from all the sources and surrounding where they begin. Eg-Marine, land, soil and so forth.

Which term best describes the difference in colors of the birds below?
NeX [460]

Answer:

The correct option is C) genetic variation

Explanation:

Genetic variation can be described as the differences present in the genetic material i.e DNA of organisms present in a population. Genetic diversity allows organisms of a species to better adapt to an environment. A population in which the genetic variability is scarce might become wiped out by a disease or an invading predator.

As the birds show different variations hence the term that best described them is genetic variation.

A Xw+m+Xwm female was mated to a XwmY male. Out of 1000 total F1 progeny there were 230 flies that were otherwise wild type with
deff fn [24]
In order to calculate the distance between two alleles/genes that are found in the same chromosome, we need to know how often crossing-over happened (recombination frequency). We know from the text that white eyes were linked to miniature wings and that wild type eyes were linked to wild type wings, so any phenotype that's contrary to these parent combinations are a result of crossing-over. We know then that 230 flies + 240 flies were a result of such recombination. To calculate the recombination frequency we only need to divide these flies (total of recombinant flies) by the total of flies in the offspring and turn it into percentage.
\frac{230+240}{1000}=0.47
0.47*100%=47%
