In the context of the text, can we control our fate? Do you think authors of dystopian fiction

I believe we have some control over our fate. I think dystopian authors somewhat think that their writing has the ability to change the course of human progress. However I think that their writing has very little affect on that. Dystopian fiction could impact the future in many ways. I’m going to take the Hunger Games for example. It has a Dystopian society. The government is corrupt, they use propaganda, the citizens are always being watched, and they get death sentenced for very little things. Maybe one of our leaders in the future could think like this and it could change everything. On the other hand, people could become aware of this society and make sure it wouldn’t happen.

I hope this helped. I didn’t have your text to read so I’m sorry if it didn’t help! Stay safe and have a great day!
