For example in Maori mythology the god , Rūaumoko is the god of Volcanoes,Earthqaukes,and Seasons. people thought that sacrificing people to the god would keep the volcano from erupting.  nature infleunced people to think that nature is controlled  by a great god. The term ''mother nature'' wouldn't exist if culture hadn't  been enfluenced by nature.
