Grendel is depicted as an evil mindless monster whose only goal is destruction and spreading evil. Considering that he's not depicted as an intellectual tactician but rather as a brute who wants to eat others, he would probably just heal up and attack again. Either that or he would ask for help from his mother.

Answer:

Grendel is delineated as a detestable careless beast whose solitary objective is decimation and spreading evil. Taking into account that he's not delineated as a scholarly strategist but instead as a savage who needs to eat others, he would most likely simply mend up and assault once more. Either that or he would request help from his mom.

Read the excerpt from The Riddle of the Rosetta Stone, by James Cross Giblin.
Roman55 [17]

Answer:

A: Positive attitude toward Young's passion for learning.

Explanation:

Throughout the passage, Giblin speaks of Young's accomplishments with high praise (never in a negative way, like answers C & D suggest). B is also incorrect because Giblin does not only focus on Young's ability to learn new languages, he speaks of other things as well.

Therefore, option A is correct - Giblin shows a positive attitude toward Young's passion for learning.
