Answer:

This painting is " Portrait of Dr. Gachet " was painted by Vincent van Gogh's.  The colors in the background was blue and blue is usually the color knows as sadness and if you look at his expression, the expression he has is all gloomy. His body language tells us the same things, his whole body looks slumped. The table has a brighter color than the man which can also tell us, the colors of the man are darker.

His face expression and everything about the picture tells us that he's sad. If you've seen someone like that in real life, your first thought is he's sad. The man looks really worn down too, he doesn't seem happy because of his whole expression and body language. He doesn't look tired because you can see he is fully awake and it's pretty obvious that something is bothering him.

Answer:

Explanation:

here are two versions of the painting. The first version of the painting was made in brighter oil colors.   Dr. Gachet seemed to be enthralled with Van Gogh.  The caption would be " Doctor Gachet's first impression."

The second version is darker compared to the first one. Doctor Gachet was painted with a grimace and sad expression.  This painting was also made in oil on canvas. Both paintings had Dr. Gachet leaning on the table, but the colors differ, making the first one brighter and more jovial while the second one is melancholic and sad.

This is the first part.

Explain in a few sentences how different lines and shapes can be manipulated to create a mood or feeling in a composition?
Ivenika [448]
Sharp lines, shapes with lots of corners, etc., leave a viewer on edge. They can be used to represent harsh emotions such as anger or hate because those are sharp feelings.
Steady patterns of lines, such as waves like an ocean, create a sense of calm because patterns mean order, and order is commonly associated with calm.

Reptile [31]

Answer:

1. B)

2. A)

Explanation:

1. The other name of aleatory music is a chance music because of the elements of the compositions that were left to chance while other elements were composed. Chance elements are considering a lot of possibilities and variability. This aleatory can also be found in films. Henry Cowell and John Cage were composing modern usage of aleatory music.

2. Renaissance motets like Ave Maria were sacred because medieval motets had that sacred chant which was Latin and it was requiring a lowest voice with secular or nonreligious texts in everyday language who was above them.
