Spanish speaking people eat dinner at 10:00 pm, from what I remember

Dinner in the US is generally a bigger portion of food as it is considered one of the most important meals of the day where you spend time with family. Dinner is spain is very late at night and usually consists of a small snack such as toast and tea, for example. Not super sure about other Spanish speaking countries but I assume that it's similar
