Answer:

Both laws have  striking similarities, but they also exhibit other differences as explained in the following

Explanation:

Both laws have  striking similarities, but there are also vast differences. And the differences show how one is far superior to the other.

In the similarities both are sets of laws designed to help society function in ways so that it could prosper, and these laws contained particular civil rights.

They both share in the protection of marriage, family, property damage, injury, murder, robbery, theft, kidnapping and even in commerce, so they both act as stabilizers of society.

Here are some differences between both.

The source of the Book of the hebrew Covenant is God; the source for the Hammurabi laws is Hammurabi the Babylonian king in ancient Mesopotamia. The hebrew Covenant protects the disenfranchised members of society, regardless of their place or rank in society, while the Code of Hammurabi is interested only in the free men class and gives special protection to the middle and higher social classes of Babylon. Another difference  was the fact that God was interested in creating a kingdom of priests, a holy nation in the hebrew law, but Hammurabi’s motivation is for prosperity and longevity on the throne.

Explain what the Dutch did with the Caribbean.
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Answer:"The Dutch Caribbean refers to territories, colonies, and countries, both former and current, of the Dutch Empire and Kingdom of the Netherlands that are located in the Lesser Antilles archipelago of the Caribbean Sea. Current territories comprise the islands of Aruba, Curacao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba. The contemporary term is sometimes also used for the Caribbean Netherlands, an entity since 2010 consisting of the 3 islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba, which are special municipalities of the Netherlands." All of the islands in the Dutch Caribbean were, at some point in their history, part of the colony of Curacao and Dependencies (1815–1954); and then the constituent country of the Netherlands Antilles (1954−2010). The autonomy of the Netherlands Antilles island areas was specified in the Islands Regulation of the Netherlands Antilles. The former Dutch colony of Suriname was not considered part of Dutch Caribbean, although it was in the southern Caribbean in Northeastern South America."

The Welfare Reform Act of 1996 ended the concept of entitlements by requiring recipients of welfare to find work within two year
GalinKa [24]

Answer and Explanation:

The goal of the welfare reform act is to reduce the number of individuals that are dependent on government for sustenance.

On August 22, 1996, President Clinton signed into law "The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996". The law stipulated that people could receive no more than five years of government benefits in a lifetime. The law required a certain population of welfare recipients to be working and others who could not get a job to participate in community service. Recipients who did not belong to any of these two categories would be stopped from enjoying any welfare assistance.

The program was targeted at promoting the work culture among the Americans. Transiting from a totally welfare based system to a work based system. This welfare reform forced some poor Americans to find work to do and stopped being dependent on the government while some who could not get work or who are not educated enough to get involved in community services remained in poverty. The only flaw of this reform was that it did not find work for these people, it only made it a requirement to benefit from the welfare system,
