Answer & Explanation:

Potential energy is the energy that can be utilized at a later date but is not being used at the moment. Many food molecules have potential, but the highest energy molecules are carbohydrates, which consist of sugars and starches primarily. Many foods that are high in carbs, such as fruits and grains, also have other benefits such as vitamins. If I was going to pick a particular food to include in my diet that contained carbohydrates, I would probably pick raspberries, since they have many health benefits besides being a quick source of energy. Also, it should be noted that simple carbs are not healthy at all, because they provide too easy a source of energy.

Use the drop-down menus to answer questions about bacteria. Since bacteria are prokaryotes, they have no The outside of a bacter
lbvjy [14]

Answer:

See the answer below

Explanation:

Since bacteria are prokaryotes, they have no nucleus and membrane-bound organelles. The outside of a bacterial cell is protected by a structure called a capsule. The cell wall provides a rigid structure that gives the cell its shape. The cell membrane helps to transport ions, nutrients, and waste. The plasmids allow DNA to be transferred from one bacterium to another.

The bacteria are microscopic organisms that are generally classified as prokaryotes. The prokaryotes lack nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles, unlike the eukaryotes. The bacteria cells are enclosed in a protective structure known as the capsule. Immediately after the capsule is the cell wall whose components vary depending on whether the bacteria is Gram-positive or negative.

Towards the innermost part of the cell, after the cell wall is the cell membrane. It acts as a channel for the transport of materials in and out of the cell. Some bacteria cells have short, circular, extrachromosomal DNA known as plasmids which can be transferred from one cell to another.

An object has a kinetic energy of 25 J and a mass of 34 kg. How fast is the object moving?
Andreyy89
Kinetic energy is the energy possessed by an object with mass when in motion. It is calculates by 1/2 the product of the mass of the object and the square of its velocity.

KE = 1/2 (mv^2)
25 = 1/2 (34)(v^2)
v = 1.21 m/s

Which food molecule (monosaccharide, polysaccharide, lipid, or protein) would you eat if...
torisob [31]
You needed a quick boost of energy - MONOSACCHARIDE

You wanted to grow strong nails, you haven't eaten in days - PROTEIN

You wanted to grow healthy hair - PROTEIN

You had a race tomorrow afternoon - POLYSACCHARIDE

You were getting ready for hibernation - LIPIDS

You wanted to get bigger muscles - PROTEIN

Your meal will be in a week - LIPIDS

CARBOHYDRATES include monosaccharide and polysaccharides. They provide immediate energy boost or short term energy storage for animals as well as long term energy storage for plants.

PROTEIN speeds up chemical reactions by lowering activation energy. It is used to form bones and build muscles. It is made up of an amino group, a carboxyl group, and an R group.

LIPIDS can be saturated or unsaturated fatty acids. They are not soluble in water however they provide long-term energy storage for animals.
