e Occidental Research Bureau has struggled for three decades to produce a man-made leaf able to absorb CO₂ from the atmosphere and convert it into chemical energy. Yet now it seems that they have at long last achieved their goal. “Everyone in the bureau are responsible for this success,” said Professor Giles Smiley, the chief scientist leading the research efforts. Answer:

The information provided above is true.

Explanation:

A group of British scientists managed to create an artificial leaf that can do the same process of fortosynthesis (and all the gas exchanges involved) as a natural leaf. The orxigen released by these leaves is pure, which is a great scientific advance that can show improvements for our planet and for our life. In addition, the sheet can be used in industrial processes that pollute the atmosphere, to reduce this pollution.

tangare [24]

The words chosen to create meaningful dependent clauses are the following ones:

a) Although Marissa likes to bake, she doesn't like to cook (this conjunction is used to make the main statement in a sentence seem surprising)

b) I have an idea that I think you will like (the complementizer introduces the noun-complement clause attached to the noun "idea")

c) If we drive slowly, we will find it (the conjunction used to introduce a conditional clause)

d) French, which we also had last year, is my hardest subject (a relative pronoun, which in this case, introduces a non-essential relative clause)
