Answer:

The Columbian exchange was caused by the arrival of Europeans in the Americas. The first of these European was Columbus, who arrived in what is now the Bahamas in 1492, hence the name of this historical event.

The Columbian exchange created completely new trade routes between the Americas and Europe, and both continents obtained goods that were unknown to each until then. Europe obtained from the Americas goods such as the potato, the tomato, chocolate, and tobacco, while the Americas obtained goods such as wheat, livestock animals, and horses.

This event changed completely the history of the two continents.

Explain the role that the Muslim scholars of Toledo played in bringing about the Renaissance. How are their efforts an example o
puteri [66]

The Muslim scholars of what historians call the School of Toledo (12th century) were responsible for the translation of many Greek texts to the Arabic and then to Latin. Because of these translations, the studying of those texts increased and they started to be read on European universities.

Many Toledo translations were important for major Renaissance scientists as Roger Bacon (c. 1219/20 – c. 1292) and Copernicus (1473-1543), for example.

The re-discovery of ancient Greek texts due to their translation from the School of Toledo is an example of cultural diffusion. The work done in Toledo kept those texts alive and being read until they found interested audiences in the rest of Europe.

Arrange the events in the correct chronological order. 1. the french establish a fur trade in canada. 2. christopher columbus se
Natasha_Volkova [10]

2. Christopher Columbus sets out on his first voyage --1. the French establish a fur trade in Canada--3. the Muscovy Company is established. --4. the Spanish establish their first settlement in North America (2, 1, 3, 4)

Columbus set out on his first voyage in 1492; the French establish the fur trade in Canada in the 1530's-1540's.; the English create the Muscovy Company in 1555; the Spanish established St. Augustine, Florida in 1565 as their first settlement

The actions in this timeline show steps taken by Europeans to create trade networks and colonies around the world. The original goal of explorers was to find a route to Asia so Europeans could create direct trade networks with Asian countries. When finding the Americas instead, many countries began to settle and find new ways of creating trade and wealth.

Katen [24]

Answer:

By the late Renaissance , some people had become dissatisfied with the Catholic Church. The peole had felt it had grown too rich and invested in polotics, they belived it was neglecting its spiritual responsibilities. This event was resolved by the people leaving and thus the rise of Protestantism. I belive the event could have been better solved by both sides of the conflict could have come together and agreed on terms. However, I do belive it was best to be resolved the way it was, by a split in the church.
