The era contributed an explosive expansion to agriculture and trade along with the progression of farmers and workers. Thousands of miles of railroad were built that triggered the oil production, automotive manufacturing at its foremost peak.  

Frederick Douglas was amongst the reformers who contributed a lot in the diffusion of the reforms of Jackson during the Glided era. Being born and brought up in slavery, he became the most eminent reformer. He used to advise President and lectures amongst thousands on the topic of women’s rights and Irish Home rule. He is also called the “Father Of the civil rights movement” who shaped the nation through his brilliance, determination, and eloquence.
