Answer:

B). I realized that I had to make choices that fulfill my inner needs.

Explanation:

As we know, conflicts are described as the struggle of the characters with the combatant forces. The conflicts are categorized as the internal dilemma or external clash faced by the characters. It not only attracts the interest of the readers by proposing tension in the story or bring a sense of closure at the end when the conflicts are resolved but also function to offer a wider and deeper meaning to the audience.

As per the question, the closing sentence among the given options proposing a larger meaning through the conflict is displayed in option B as it offers a universal meaning through the character's realization that 'we have to make choices that fulfill our inner needs'. Thus, option B is the correct answer.

Setler79 [48]

Answer:

A. True

Explanation:

When the translation between English and French is repeated several times to the point that a different translator can redo the translation, maintaining the meaning and content of the original document, it means that the decentring process has taken place. This can be seen in the question above when an English version of Sophia's document was translated, one last time, into French by a different translator, into the same English. This means that even after undergoing successive translations, Sophia's document retained its original meaning and content, that is, the document went through the decentering process.

Read the passage from The Odyssey - Elpenor. By night our ship ran onward toward the Ocean's bourne, the realm and region of the
PilotLPTM [1.2K]
It isnt dark or sunny, because it clearly states "hidden in mist and cloud". So for a while i was between misty and cloudy. However I believe it is misty, because cloudy normally means that the sky is clouded, and in the passage it says that it is hidden. Now, i dont know about you, but clouds in the sky have never hidden anything but the sun from me. I think it means that it was as if there was a cloud on earth and that the cloud of mist hid where the men of winter live. Therefore, I believe the answer is the second choice, misty. Hope that helps! Please vote this answer the branliest, too! :)

Which meaning of influence best defines the word as it is used in this sentence?
snow_tiger [21]

Answer:

Option C

The ability to have an effect on the behavior, character, or actions of someone else

Explanation:

The word influence has quite a number of meanings which may vary based on the context which it is used.

We can analyse the situation presented in the problem statement "Dara could influence my decision to vote for Joy in the student body election " to find the meaning based on this context.

We understand that the influence used here most likely means that Dara can affect the choice I make for a candidate during the election. If this happens it means that Dara can affect my behaviour, character or action, as regards to taking a decision during the election.

This makes option C the most appropriate answer

In his poem "Unanimity Has Been Achieved, Not a Dot Less for Its Accidentalness," Bob Kaufman often starts stanzas with the word
marysya [2.9K]

"Unanimity Has Been Achieved, not a Dot Less for Its Accidentalness," by Bob Kaufman, represents the urban poor’s social problems. Kaufman often starts his stanzas with ‘I’ with which he wants to refer the problems of them as personal and to the readers. In need to awaken to the injustice prevailing in society, in his own words states that "extravagant moments of a shock of unrehearsed curiosity," he wants his readers to move themselves from their apathy. The use of ‘I’ refers as if he is conveying from his own personal experiences.
“I can remember four times when I was not crying & once when I was not laughing.
I am kneaded by a million black fingers & nothing about me
improves.”
Kaufman not only addresses those injustices but condemns them. He urges his readers to reject all the social norms that construct society and results in poverty.
Also through the use of the first person, he strives to call for equality in the society.
