Five students measured the same line with the ruler shown below. The results reported by the students were as follows: 4.51 cm,

4.55 cm, 4.53 cm, 4.5 cm, and 4.6 cm. Even though you cannot see the line they measured, which of the recorded measurements is not correct according to the precision of the ruler?

Answer:

4.6 cm is not correct according to the precision of the ruler

Explanation:

The precise value is the most nearest measurement value to the exact  value. or in other words the nearness of the measured value to the exact value is called as precision

Here , four students measure the line  and got following four measurement values-

4.51 , 4.55 , 4.53 , 4.5

These values are more or less near to the precision level of each other but the value 4.6 is an outlier with highest deviation from the average group value.

Thus, 4.6 cm is not correct according to the precision of the ruler

Clearly cellulose is very abundant on earth, and it is a long-lasting stable substance. Many animals cannot digest cellulose. Gi
Stels [109]

Answer: Termites and herbivores.

Explanation:

The two organism that can digests cellulose are termites and herbivores. The termite contains protists known as mastigophorans carry out digestion of cellulose in the body.

The cellulose in this case is digested and prevents it from getting deposited in the environment.

The other organism are animals like ruminants which can digest cellulose in their gut. They partially digest the cellulose and regurgitate it into the mouth an broken down further.

This process of digestion of cellulose in the gut is anaerobic so methane is released in the environment as a product of digestion.

The human beings cannot digest cellulose and a very less amount of it is considered as fiber and is simply excreted.

An individual heterozygous for eye color, skin color, and number of eyes mates with an individual who is homozygous recessive fo
sukhopar [10]

Answer:

B) 1 black eyes, green skin, two eyes : 1 black eyes, green skin, one eye : 1 black eyes, white skin, two eyes : 1 orange eyes, green skin, two eyes : 1 orange eyes, white skin, two eyes : 1 orange eyes, white skin, one eye

Explanation:

Parentals:                     BbGgCc  x  bbggcc

The punette square diagram of the cross of these two parents is attached.

B = black eyes, b = orange eyes;

G = green skin, g = white skin;

C = two eyes, c = one eye

Progeny with BbGgCc genotype → black eyes, green skin, two eyes = 8

Progeny with BbGgcc genotype → black eyes, green skin, one eye = 8

Progeny with BbggCc genotype → black eyes, white skin, two eyes = 8

Progeny with bbGgCc genotype → orange eyes, green skin, two eyes = 8

Progeny with Bbggcc genotype → black eyes, white skin, one eye = 8

Progeny with bbGgcc genotype → orange eyes, green skin, one eye = 8

Progeny with bbggCc genotype → orange eyes, white skin, two eyes = 8

Progeny with bbggcc genotype → orange eyes, white skin, one eye = 8

So, if we will see them in the form of ratio then each of the genotype will be in the ratio of 1 i.e. black eyes, green skin, two eyes: black eyes, green skin, one eye: black eyes, white skin, two eyes: orange eyes, green skin, two eyes: black eyes, white skin, one eye: orange eyes, green skin, one eye: orange eyes, white skin, two eyes : orange eyes, white skin, one eye = 1:1:1:1:1:1:1:1.

So, in view of above option B is most appropriate.

Note: In a trihybrid cross, a total of 64 progeny types may be produced.

If carbon dioxide is completely removed from a plants environment , what would you expect to happen to the plants production of
Zigmanuir [339]
The plant's production of high-energy sugars would reduce significantly. I'm not going to say that the plant would completely stop producing the sugars because it has to respire, and one product of respiration would be carbon dioxide. This carbon dioxide would be recycled so that the plant can photosynthesize and produce sugars.

Arte-miy333 [17]

In biological systems, the chemical reactions concerning glucose and ATP as a product are vital for cellular respiration and photosynthesis. Shortcuts reduce the activation energy, which increases the net "gain" of products. I would go with the last one.
