Answer:

Through this one can infer about the father in the Watson family that he's been killed in previous year's lottery as Jack Watson, Mr. Watson's son is appointed as the head of the household.

Explanation:

'The Lottery' is a short story written by Shirley Jackson. The short story is about ritual of drawing lottery and the one whom lottery falls is killed by townspeople.

In the story, when Mrs. Watson was asked about who will draw for her family, she asserts that she will draw for her family. But the lottery is to be drawn by the male of the family only.  So, Jack Watson will draw for his family. Through this incident, one can infer that Mr. Watson has been killed in the previous year's lottery. It is because, now, Jack Watson is head of the Watson family.

sasho [114]
The answer is most likely C, can a robot dominated government run a human society. The assumption here is that robots already have dominated human kind. Because of their machine intelligence, they don't feel like humans do and therefore persecute those who are against the government. This shows a dystopian universe.
