Answer: Land Lease

Explanation:

Liege Lords were people who were owed loyalty and service by other people who would then be their vassals/ lieges. The highest Liege Lord was the King but lesser Lords and Nobles could assume this title.

If they needed men to fight for them, they would offer them a piece of land. The men would have control over this land but not ownership and in return would pledge allegiance to the liege Lord and fight for them when they are called up.

If you watched Game of Thrones you would notice that Bannermen are a form of lieges. The Starks for instance, were able to call up the Karstarks, Umbers, Flints and Mormonts amongst others when they needed to march South because those were their lieges/ vassals.

abruzzese [7]

Each author uses non-English words and figurative language.

The authors uses the words tortillas, pachucos, Oom-pah, and Gorditas. These are non-English words. They also use figurative language. When he says took the "tortillas out of his poetry", he is talking about how he is removing evidence of his Hispanic culture from his poetry. He thinks it will give him a better chance. In the second passage they are talking about overhearing someone who seems to wish for a heritage, not realizing that America has a heritage. The sensory detail of the American trees dangling their branches over his head is used to emphasize this.

What does Holden have against bald men?
Darya [45]
If I'm not mistaken, you're talking about Holden in the book, "Catcher in the Rye"? Well, I don't think he has something against bald men, but 'balding' men. When he saw a 65-year old balding bellboy comb his hair all the way to cover up the balding spot he had, he thought that if he'd ever be balding, he wouldn't cover up the spot and rather be completely bald.
