In one or two paragraphs of a minimum of 150 words, describe how Edgar Allan Poe’s poem “The Bells” uses figurative language to
siniylev [52]

Answer:

Edgar Allan Poe created the poem "The Bells" to describe them using stylistic devices. Look down below for the answer as this is a space for short answers.

Explanation:

Three different elements show how Edgar Allan Poe used figurative language to develop his poem "The Bells". First of all, "The Bells" is a poem that describes the sound of different types of bells, as much as the general idea allowed him to think about all types of bells and represent them in the poem. Second, once he has thought and analyzed the different characteristic sounds of each type he makes comparisons, similes, and imagery are the most used elements in the poem. Third, after trying to identify them, he describes them in what is his best "shot" to be understood by the reader. Then, he repeats different elements, scenes, and objects to compare them and differentiate one type from the other. One major factor here is that he uses his knowledge and learning to transmit his idea. That might not be perfect but is complete, because he described them so hard by comparing them to common objects that the reader can understand his point of view easily.

Is Colin's evidence relevant to his claim?
Tema [17]

Answer: Colin's evidence is not relevant to his claim because it is about flying drones being a sport, not about privacy issues.

Explanation: Colin's evidence is not related to his main claim, that is to say the assertion that drones do not invade people's privacy. Instead of focusing on providing evidence that supports the idea that drones do not affect people's privacy negatively, Colin offers evidence related to the thought that flying drones is a sport by stating that coordination and technical skills are necessary to fly drones. Therefore, it can be said that his argument lacks strength because it has not been properly supported.

Which of the following sentences from Lisa Wilson Strick essay, Nonsexist Child-Rearing: The New Parent Trap? is the best exampl
IrinaK [193]
The correct answer is D.
In this essay, Lisa Wilson Strick is advocating that a completely non-sexist parenting is nearly impossible in our society. She believes that parents should teach their children to accept others and themselves and appreciate the individual differences of human personality. By focusing on acceptance and tolerance, we could create a society where feminine and masculine traits are equally valued.
