Answer: The correct answer is (b)

Explanation:

out of 500 fish, 100 fish were tagged

50 fishes can be caught.

we need to find the number of fishes which would be tagged.

The ratio of tagged fishes and total fishes is =\frac{100}{500}

So, the number fishes tagged in the caught fishes is = \frac{100}{500}\times 50 =10

Hence, 10 fishes are expected to be tagged among the 50 caught fishes.

The correct option is b

What is a triacylglycerol ? Discuss the advantages of organisms having triacylglycerol as energy storage molecule?
Sergeeva-Olga [200]

Answer:

Triacylglycerols are acylglycerols with three fatty acid molecules, generally long chain, which can be the same or different; we speak of simple triacylglycerols when there is the same fatty acid in all three glycerol positions, but most are mixed triacylglycerols, with at least two different fatty acids. The properties of triacylglycerols will depend on the type of fatty acids they contain.

Most of the fats and oils of both animal origin (tallow, butter) and vegetable (olive, corn, sunflower, palm, and coconut oils) are formed almost exclusively by triacylglycerols.

Physiologically, triacylglycerols are an important energy reserve. In most eukaryotic cells, triacylglycerols are stored in the cytosol as microscopic fat droplets. In vertebrates there are specialized cells in the storage of fat, adipocytes. In humans, the presence of fatty tissue under the skin, in the abdominal cavity and in the mammary gland stands out.

Why does the headless horseman carry his head under his arm geometry worksheet?
Serggg [28]

Based on the question above, the best answer would be:

That the headless horseman had to hold his head in his arms is because he “wanted to see what’s ahead.”

Or a simple geometric equation of SOH CAH TOA would help solve the angle degree.

Answer:

Hello, The DNA fingerprinting technique and development and comparison of physical fingerprints can be the methods used for the purpose of solving crimes and identification of missing person. The DNA fingerprinting can be done from the physical evidences such as blood, sweat, hair, tissues, teeth and other material obtain at crime scene. These can be compared with the suspects, victim and missing persons so as to establish their identity. The physical fingerprints can be developed on the scene of crime and compared with the requested specimen from suspect, victim and the missing person or in case of impersonation to establish the desired identity.

Which means of particle transport is shown in Figure 7–4 above?
sattari [20]
The correct option is D.
When it comes to movement of particles in an out of cells, there are two basic types of transportation, these are passive and active transportation. The passive transportation of particles does not require  the use of energy while the active transport system requires the use of energy in the form of ATP. From the diagram given in the question, it can be seen that energy is involved in the process. Energy is mainly needed to move the particles against the concentration gradient since the inside of the cell is highly concentrated while the outside has low concentration. <span />
