Explain the differences and/or similarities between solarization and the Sabattier effect.

Both Solarization and Sabattier Effects are techniques used in photography. The difference is the amount of exposure that the photos undergo. Solarization effect produces photos that are fully exposed therefore creating blac and white photos, while the sabattier effect produces photos that are partially exposed creating different varying tones (i.e. sepia)

The Sabattier effect is a darkroom technique to create surreal images. Similar to Sabattier effect, except it is specific to situation where the film is massively overexposed. The same process and technique is used for both.

The art category for this image is cave art. This art was back in the stone age when men where doing drawings of the animals they saw. The french archaeologist Henri Breuil did this drawing in 1915 to show the environment and the life of art for men of the stone age. This drawing was published by the American paleontologist Henry Fairfield Osbom.
