Why has increasing farm production failed to help prevent malnutrition and famine in developing nations? I NEED ALL THE ANSWERS

Looking back at how farms where run back in the times of the bible or when the colonist first migrated to the Americas from Europe you can see a huge difference in the quality of food being produced. However, we didn't have all the pollution we have now from power plants and carbon dioxide permeating the atmosphere. The low ph balances in the earth which believe it or not help with the amount of nutrients that enters the plants not to mention the chemicals that are constantly being sprayed on crops. When you factor all of those variables in you can see that even in developing nations this is a problem the more a nation developes the more people it can facilitate which means it must now speed up production on many things one of which is food that means over working the soil (Rich soil helps improve the nutrition in the crop) this can lead to famine because eventually the ground will become so over worked that you will no longer be able to grow anything there and just for fun lets through in global warming this is why many people are becoming malnourished because the food is being rushed produced which diminishes the nutrition in the crop.

Who does jonathan think he sees in the thick fog? the fighting ground
kupik [55]

<u>The fighting ground:</u>

When Jonathan was running in the fog, there was thick fog surrounding him and he could hardly see anything through the fog and while running he thought that one of the pursuers was following him so he started running even faster to save himself.

But suddenly he heard a voice calling out his name and it was a very similar voice. While running he realised that it was his sister who was calling out his name as johnny and listening to this he took a sigh of relief and stopped running so fast.

<em>The answer is: </em>

  • Even experienced citizens need legal support.
  • The legal process is complicated.
  • Citizens are more likely to be convicted without counsel.

<em>Explanation: </em>

<em>Justice Hugo Lafayette Black (1886-1971) </em>was an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court who argued that the<em> Fourteenth Amendment</em> made provisions of the<em> Bill of Rights</em> that applied only <u>against the states.</u> He pointed out that the <em>Privileges or Immunities clause</em> that said that "<em>No State shall enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of a U.S. citizen"</em> should refer to the rights of the<em> first eight amendments. </em>

2. Which historical development illustrates the fulfillment of Winthrops
likoan [24]

Answer:

The historical development which illustrates the fulfillment of Winthrop's argument is:

(A) Polk negotiated a compromise with the British over Oregon.

Explanation:

Between 1859 and 1872, Great Britain and the US fought a bitter war for the control of Oregon.  This war was caused by a stray pig; no wonder, the US termed it: "the Pig War."  Earlier John Winthrop had argued that the United States, the New England, was to become "a city on a hill," very conspicuous to all men.  Possession of the new land signaled an alliance with the word of God.  Failure to uphold the human part of the covenant would expose the country to ridicule.  President Polk, fighting the Pig War with Great Britain over Oregon without victory, was a sign of failure to uphold the covenant.  The country was exposed to public ridicule because the war only ended with the signing of a treaty (a form of compromise), which ceded the whole of Vancouver to Britain and then Oregon to the US.
