Answer:

ExpThe Sudanese civil war started as a conflict between the Muslim Arabs in northern Sudan with the Christian and Animist people of southern Sudan. It was both a political war and a religious war; northern Sudan wanted to enforce Islamic law in the south, where the tribes had very different beliefs and traditions. In 2003, the war spread to the Darfur region in western Sudan. The war produced widespread death and famine in southern Sudan, and later in the Darfur region. Over 2.5 million refugees have fled to neighboring countries.

Alexxandr [17]

The correct answer is option E:

The country of Rockonya makes 1 television every 5 hours and 1 car every 20 hours, while the country of Jamonia makes 1 television every 24 hours and 1 car every 12 hours. Rockonya has a Comparative Advantage in making televisions.

A comparative advantage of one country over another in the production of a certain good or service is a special facility with respect to a certain key aspect that the first country has more than the second. In this case, the characteristic to be compared is the greater productivity that Rockonya has in the manufacture of televisions.

An absolute advantage takes into account the quantification of a key aspect for the production of a certain good or service without establishing any comparison with another country.

In the example it would be: Rockonya has a productivity of 1 TV per day.

Alla [95]

Answer:

The correct answer is C. In Tinker v. Des Moines Justice Fortas argues that it would be obvious that students' rights are violated "if a regulation were adopted by school officials forbidding discussion of the Vietnam conflict . . . except as part of a prescribed classroom exercise."

Explanation:

The opinion of Justice Fortas, which corresponds to the majority position of the Court in the case, establishes that the prohibition to students to discuss positions regarding the Vietnam War is clearly in violation of the students' rights to express their opinions, which is framed in the right to freedom of speech guaranteed in the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.
