Dear Sir,
Letter of Enquiry
The management of Hamid Public School is planning a trip to Rishikesh for the summer vacations and we have considered camping at Snow Leopard Camp for the period of five days, 20/7/2020 to 24/7/2020, that will be spent. We are coming with a population of 50 students and 10 members of staff.
In order to properly plan the trip, we would like to know if the number of rooms available can accommodate this population. The management would also love to know the activities that are available at the camp to be sure they meet the tastes of our students. The issue of safety is also paramount. What are the measures that have been put in place to ensure that the safety of our students is guaranteed.
I would like to hear from you soon to aid proper and prompt preparation for this trip. Thanks.
Yours faithfully,
Surekha Sunil.
Answer:
The haiku " Birds scatter in flight Colorful specks in the air Noisy confetti" makes use of a 5/7/5 syllable pattern.
Explanation:
Haiku is a traditional Japanese poem. The number of lines present in a haiku is 3. First line line has 5 syllables. The second line has 7 syllables. Third line also has 5 syllables. Syllables is nothing but a part of a word that can be pronounced as a unit. These haiku rarely contains rhyming words.
The above haiku can be split into syllable as follows:
Birds /sca/ tter/ in/ flight/
Co/ lor/ ful/specks/ in/ the/ air
Noi/sy/con/fe/ tti
I think it is A, though it is not much of an inference.
We don't know anything about the population breakdown. It is not B.
We don't know if there was any payment made. The tone of the last sentence of the quotation suggests there was no payment made. C doesn't work.
D is the second best answer. They have moved to areas otherwise they couldn't come back. The only problem is claiming the new land. If they did that, why would they come back?
I still think it is A, but don't be surprised if the answer turns out to be D.
The most effective type of single tactic persuasion in
persuasive programming is logos. This is because people are easily convinced by
the truth especially with the use of statistics, historical and literal analogies
and established names related to the field of expertise. People regard
intelligence as tantamount to preciseness.
The least effective type is the pathos. There are instances
when people are at war of their emotions especially in decision-making because it
creates doubt or confusion to be persuaded by biased judgment. It requires
consideration of other useful factors before resorting to emotional attachment.
Dividing household chores in a family whose primary mode of interaction is communal sharing, is equality matching. In this kind of relational model they believe in equal share distributions. The chores that are divided equally are a perfect example of this theory. Turns for looking after the children, even going out, are part of this type of relations
