The Islamic development embraced at least parts of essentially every other civilization in the Afro-Eurasian hemisphere. It fostered a network of commerce and exchange that facilitated the spread of crops, technologies, and ideas. The natural commitment to Islam construct a character that transcended more local political and cultural personalities in the Islamic world.
I agree with the statement ignorance is bliss. There are just some things better left unknown. For example when and how we will die knowing that would cause us to live differently then we would have if we hadn't known we would try to avoid it. It relates to Faustus because he clearly disagree's strongly with that statement he decides to go after ultimate know;edge and wisdom no matter the consequences even if it means an eternity in hell.
In much the same way as Christianity, Islam too gave a belief of a promised better life once life was over. If you cannot pay a man, convince him pay will come once dead.
The Great Commission is the last command by Jesus to his disciples our Lord's to take God's gospel to all people throughout the world and to make disciples in all nations. The two responsibilities mentioned in the Great Commission are:
1) The first responsibility is to build and multiply the disciples of Christ in all nations and, in turn, they will evangelize the Good News to their nations and train other disciples to do the same generation after generation through the process of spiritual multiplication.
2) The second responsibility is to preach and teach the dynamic gospel of Christ; thus its the responsibility of the Holy Spirit's to make our witness effective.
