It discussed that the parchment, animal skin, from some point in time was used as a material to write on. Though it was costly, parchment was durable and stronger than papyrus (come from a plant).

Papyrus was more economical to use. People tried to transfer the text to this medium. But change was not instant. But there was a time when the church tried to use papyrus because parchment was costly.

What best describes a woman's role in Puritan Society?
ololo11 [35]

Answer:

The correct answer is C: Respected as mothers and religious leaders

Explanation:

In a traditional Puritan household, women were known to be submissive with the men running the household and earning an income. This submissiveness mostly came from the need to be obedient and moral.

However, women had authority within the home and were responsible for running the household.

As mothers, they made key decisions and helped to build a family system. Women also had a huge role in the Church and almost every Puritan church had female religious leaders.
