One of the main purposes of the early universities was to educate the future clergy: thus, most, although not all, of the students were priests or on their way to become priests. This is connected to the fact that the universities evolved from church schools.

During the early times only arts, law, medicine and theology were available as subjects: in those courses there were also no electives, but everyone had to study the same prescribed  courses. The language of the instruction was only Latin, regardless of the location of the university (which also helped in the mobility o f the scientists)

Further explanation

Explain one difference in the arguments expressed in the two sources regarding the effect of revolutions on the global political
blagie [28]

Answer and Explanation:

The political and social and economic conditions that led to the political revolutions within the first global age were perpetual in motion. It had been a sequence reaction, one domino fell, and three more followed right after it. Some people think that Hobbes 1651 is the real major modern political philosopher in the Western tradition. He explicitly denies that the revolution makes sense. Instead, he believes that a theme can only correctly resist government authority as a self-defense issue, and only lethal implementation harm.
