In this case, the expression "a paradise of my own creation" does not in fact describe any concrete "creation." What the speaker is trying to say, in fact, is that his current situation (a seafarer) is one that he himself has chosen. Moreover, the fact that he calls this a "paradise" demonstrates that he loves his life as a sailor and he is happy he made that decision.

anzhelika [568]

Examples of irony that Saki uses to create satire would be options C and D. Option C is irony because Bertha felt sad that she was not going to be tempted, usually you're not sad over temptation, and for Option D it was mentioned that pigs were more important than flowers which is a bit ironic because usually that would be said the other way around.

I hope this helps! Have a good day

Different foods, traditions, clothing, and language can contribute to one's cultural identity. However, some may interpret cultural identity differently. Americans get their cultural identity from many cultures and add their own. Cisneros's"Mericans" and "Otika's Response to Executive Order 9066" reveal that America is made up of a blend of cultures as well as its own.Otika shows how she interprets her own cultural identity and how others identify her.
