What does this mean?: "By discovering the literature of our neighbors, we may also learn about ourselves"

I think the point of the relation of the quote to Atwood's poem is that what we see (or presume) and what we experience can be two totally different things. The poem talks about the striking differences between Canada as tourists see it and Canada as the speaker sees it through her own experience. For the tourists, Saskatchewan is just another lake with "convenient" places to pose and take photos. For her, it is a very personal place of memories and meanings. In relation to the quote, we need to really meet our neighbors, instead of just believing the superficial images. We can really meet them through literature. By doing that, we will meet ourselves too, and realize the deep connection that binds us to other, different people and cultures.

Since Shakespeare's plays involve a bit of traditional language and sophistication, the players often speak in free verse. This usually happens when speaking aloud or expressing passions and emotions. Hope this helped :))

In what ways have the two Koreas grown apart?
siniylev [52]
South Korea is a democratic nation while North Korea is a communist nation. Though both have been separated by boundaries and political ideology, recent developments may have caused the two countries to grow further apart. Today, South Korea is one of the fastest growing countries in the world. Its economy is now rapidly growing as its products are now widely used internationally from cellphones to appliance to even automobiles. This has led to big improvement in the living conditions of its citizens who also enjoy the benefits of a democratic government. On the hand, North Korea is gaining notoriety for its suppression of human rights. There are rumors of starvation within the country and it recently announced that it successfully detonated a hydrogen bomb heightening tensions not only with the South but also with other countries.
