Answer:

Option B. 1 : 4.

Step-by-step explanation:

In a lab 30% acid solution and 5% acid solution were mixed to prepare 10% acid solution.

We have to calculate the ratio of both the acids should be mixed to prepare 10% acid solution.

Let the volume of 30% solution was used = x ml

and the volume of 5% acid was used = y ml

Therefore the equation will form as

30%.x + 5%.y = 10%.(x + y)

0.30x + 0.05y = 0.10(x + y)

Now we transfer the similar terms in one side of the equation.

0.30x - 0.10x = 0.10y - 0.05y

0.20x = .05y

\frac{x}{y}= \frac{.05}{0.20}

x : y :: 1 : 4

Therefore solutions will be mixed in a ratio of 1 : 4

Option B. 1 : 4 is the right answer.

The following differential equation is separable as it is of the form dP/dt = g(P)h(t).
dedylja [7]

Answer:

P(1-P) = Ae^t

Step-by-step explanation:

given differential equation is

\frac{dP}{dt} =P-P^2\\\frac{dP}{dt} = g(P) h(t)\\g(P) = P-P^2\\h(t) = 1

So this is separable

We separate as

\frac{dP}{P-P^2} =1dt\\\frac{dP}{P(1-P)} =1dt

Resolve into partial fractions to solve this

dP(\frac{1}{P}+ \frac{1}{1-P} ) = 1dt\\ln P(1-P) = t+C\\P(1-P) = Ae^t

So solution isP(1-P) = Ae^t

If the two adjacent angles are supplementary then their outer sides are???
Ainat [17]

Answer:

If the bisectors of two adjacent angles are perpendicular to each other, are the angles then supplementary angles?

Suppose two angles ABC and CBD are x and y.

x+y = 180 deg.

The bisector of angle ABC (BE) and the bisector of angle CBD (CF) will form angle EBF = (x/2)+(y/2) = 180/2 = 90 deg.

Conclusion: If the angle bisectors of two adjacent angles are perpendicular to eaxh other, the adjacent angles are supplementary angle

Adjacent angles are when the 2 angles have a common vertex and a common arm.

if the exterior sides of 2 adjacent angles are perpendicular, then the angles are complementary angles.

Then the sum of the 2 adjacent angles is a right angle - 90°.

When 2 angles add up to 90°, they are called a pair of complementary angles.
