Both the Romans and the Greeks significant contributed towards the development of Modern Europe and Western Civilization as a whole.

The Greeks preceded the Romans by a thousand years and were a major power spanning Europe and Asia. They were able to develop a system of democracy by limiting the powers of the King and building a senate where ministers and lords would debate over laws.

They also developed a system of speedy trials which resembles the 7th Amendment of the United States Constitution.

The Romans were able to further develop this system into a mode codified law. Rules, regulations and taxes were modernized and standardized. An assembly was developed which is a directly related to the development of modern representative democracy in the United Kingdom.

The Greeks started direct democracy which is rule by the people. They also used a jury of 'peers' that is like the 7th amendment: "the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury."
The Romans built on direct democracy to a representative democracy. They also introduced the assembly who approved or rejected laws, a right that is seen in all branches of the US government.

Read the Gallup poll results of registered voters when asked this question. Thinking about how the gun issue might affect your v
babymother [125]

Answer and Explanation:

1. When choosing a candidate to vote, I would consider one who shares my views on gun control. This is because whenever we choose a candidate, we must choose the one that best represents us and that will work according to our interests in the country. I consider gun control to be very important and should be implemented in a more rigid way in the country, for this reason, I would consider voting for a candidate who shares this thinking.

2. Although you have not informed any data, we can state that "Most voters think a candidate's opinion on the Second Amendment is one important issue to consider." This is because the second amendment refers to a very important issue in our country and that directly affects our security and freedom, two of the main points to be managed within the national territory.

What factars helped motivate Japan to begin extending its power outside of its national borders?
Oduvanchick [21]

There were few factors that motivated the Japanese to start extending their power and territory out of their borders. Some of the most important factors were:

- Strong military

Japan modernized its military, had good and modern equipment and good training. That made their army superior in the region.

- Weak opposition

The nations on which Japan has set its sights on were either very weak, or had internal problems and were not unified nations.

- Natural resources

Japan is a nation that desperately lacks in natural resources. In order to be able to develop further and set its foundations for the future, Japan started occupying areas that were rich in natural resources.
