Answer;

8 kilo calories/mole.

Approximately 8 kilo calories/mole more free energy is supplied to the electron transport chain by NADH than by FADH2.

Explanation;

-An NADH molecule produces 3 ATP during the ETC (Electron Transport Chain) with oxidative phosphorylation because NADH gives up its electron to Complex I, which is at a higher energy level than the other Complexes.

-An FADH2 molecule produces 2 ATP during the ETC because it gives up its electron to Complex II, bypassing Complex I.

Is supplied aproximately two more electrons by NADH than by FADH2.

FADH2 enters the electron transport chain later than NADH. The electron transport chain is made of protein complexes and the passage of an electron through each complex releases a H+ across the membrane. The movement of these H+ creates potential energy as electrochemical gradient that will later generate energy for the enzyme ATP synthase to produce ATP. NADH starts giving these electrons at an earlier stage than FADH2 supplying more energy to the electron transport chain.

How does water's specific heat relate to its usefulness for life give examples?
RideAnS [48]
Water covers around 70% of the Earth's surface and its high specific heat plays a very important role as it is able to absorb a lot of heat without a significant rise in the temperature. When temperatures decrease, the heat which is stored is released, restraining a rapid drop in temperature. The combined effect of these processes is a buffering of temperature on the Earth.

Biological and environmental influences that are similar for individuals in a particular age group, regardless of where they are
Flauer [41]

Answer:

age-graded

Explanation:

Age-graded influences are biological and environmental events that influence the dynamic interaction between an individual and their environment at certain ages of the individual’s course of life. They are events that are expected to occur in a particular setting based on chronological age. For example, depending on the cultural settings of an individual, an individual is expected to graduate high school at a certain age, or get married at a certain age. Another example is puberty and menopause which are biological influences that are age-graded.
