Answer:

I would say that in this paragraph of Song of Myself, Walt Whitman gives that catalog of items in order to create a feeling of unity. The correct answer is the first one.

Explanation:

First, let's remember that Unity in literature is referred to the quality of oneness in a paragraph as a result of the contribution of all the words and sentences in it. They all, all the words and sentences, follow the main idea, contribute to it in order to express a complete, well built idea.

In this case, the author writes a paragraph giving a catalog of items, and all the words in that paragraph contribute to the main idea. He gives the excerpt the idea of wholeness.

kap26 [50]

Answer:

A)is disturbed by Amphimedon

Explanation:

From the passage, Agamemnon is asking Amphimedon what brought him to Hades and why he came to the "undergloom" in a body so young.

He tries to find out what happened to him to die so young, whether it is as a result of Poseidon's rage at sea or in a fight for either stronghold or woman, he is eager to find out.

From these inferences and behavior of Agamnemon, we can conclude that he is disturbed by Amphimedon.

Essay on is it ethical to target uninformed consumers
alexgriva [62]
It is unfortunate that some businesses use deceptive and manipulative strategies to attain the sales objectives. It more unfortunate that most people trust companies in that they consider their interests. However, the use of marketing means and targeting uninformed customers is not unethical or manipulative means. One of the reasons is that most companies and businesses research and analyze their consumers determining the predisposed means that might make a person to buy a product (Graeff 643-667). These include a variety of factors such as cultural norms, personal preferences as well as regular orders among others.

In targeting the uninformed consumers, the company introduces their brand to new markets. This not only acts as a way of winning new customers but also as an education platform in that people are informed of the new product (Buehler and Schuett). While the community gets educated, the company can attract more consumers. Also, target marketing is beneficial to a community. Can you imagine introducing a new product to the consumers? This would increase competition against the rival and already established products leading to improved qualities and lowered prices. Through target marketing, a company is likely to gain. This is realized since the company has the upper hand in influencing the uninformed group through asking, informing, and persuasion as well as advertising (Fishman 23-25).

However, it may seem unethical to target an informed consumer group. This is because it may intrude their cultural beliefs and social norms. The products may not best fit the group and introducing them to the people may be wrong.

The author of "How to Jump-Start a Car Battery" uses a(n) _____ tone in the article.
Sergio [31]
It seems it is somehow humorous because the man end up saying that if you can do it on your own, you can take the car to their place and they will do it for you.

It could not be angry or annoyed because he is willing to explain and he is even making a video about it.
As regards bitter, it does not fit as a possibility for the video or his explanation of the subject.
