Cape Bojador --- Prince Henry of Portugal

-The first known European navigator who managed to overtake Cape Bojador was the Portuguese sailor Gil Eanes in 1434, on his fifteenth expedition, under the auspices of Prince Henry of Portugal. The disappearance of many European ships that sailed in the area had led to myths such as the existence of marine monsters and the impossibility of passing Cape Bojador to the south.

Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada --- Henry VIII of England

-King Henry VII financed the expedition of John Cabot, looking for opportunities to trade with the islands of spices. Cabot's idea was to reach Asia by sailing west across the North Atlantic. He estimated that this route should be shorter and faster than the one newly discovered by Columbus. Finally, Cabot's expedition discovered Newfoundland and Labrador.

Hispaniola and the Caribbean --- Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain

-Funded by the Catholic Kings of Spain, Christopher Columbus explored the area, during his first trip to America in 1492. On his arrival in Hispaniola, he founded the fort La Navidad on the north coast of present-day Haiti. Upon his return, the following year, following the destruction of the fort, Columbus quickly founded a second settlement further east, in the current Dominican Republic, La Isabela, which was the first permanent European settlement in America.

St. Lawrence River in Canada --- King Francis I of France

-In 1534, the Malouin Jacques Cartier officially took possession of the lands of the St. Lawrence River in the name of King Francis I of France. Cartier is generally considered to be the discoverer of the St. Lawrence Valley.

Which of the following causes the most problems in countries with low economic growth? poor education low unemployment rapid pop
OverLord2011 [107]
Most of the time it is, unfortunately, low education. Rapid population increase isn't too far behind, but if a population lacks education there would be little room for the economy to increase and a rapid population increase would effect problems more associated with resources and living space, depending on the country/area.
