Answer:

Part A: A= cytoplasm, B= cell wall and C= cell membrane.

Part B under this condition we expected to see the phenomena called plasmolysis.

Explanation:

Eukaryotic cells consist on a cytoplasm (internal medium) which contains different organelles. Covering the cytoplasm we found a first thin layer called cell membrane and an external rigid layer called cell wall.

When a cell is subjected to a media with a salt concentration higher than salt concentration inside the cell (hypertonic media), water inside the vacuole (an organelle that constitues almost 90 % of cell volume and contains water) tends to move out of the cell in response to concentration gradient. This phenomena is called plasmolysis and is possible because of permeability characteristics of cell membrane and cell wall.

Part A:A = cytoplasmB = cell membraneC= cell wall
Part B: When a highly concentrate salt solution has been added to the slide that the plant cell is on, plasmolysis will take place. Plasmolysis is the shrinking of the cytoplasm of a plant cell in response to diffusion of water out of the cell and into high salt concentration solutions.

Hope this helps you! (:

arsen [322]

Answer:

E. 1/600

Explanation:

Hint:

The probability of fixation of a new neutral mutation is 1/(2N)

Given N as 300

= 1/(2×300)

=1/600

Therefore,

1/600 gives a sure fixation of one allele from the large population

A trait, such as height, has high heritability because much of the variation between individuals is the result of genetic variat
Len [333]

This is because the traits like height, are influenced by environmental conditions around the individual. For example, there are two children born to same mother. But one is given best facilities, nutrition and care, whereas other one is brought up by a poor family, which hardly get good food to eat. His condition is much worse than the first case. In such a situation, the former child will grow up healthy and fit, and will have more height than the later one. Although, both got genes from same parent, but the environmental conditions influenced the expression of those genes differently.
