The economienda system was a legal and labor system in which Spanish conquerors (conquistadores) used indigenous people as a labor force. The goal of this system was to have indigenous people complete the hard physical labor and the land owners (Spanish colonizers) would provide protection. Along with this, the Spanish colonziers would also help to convert the indigenous people to Christianity.

This system was supposed to benefit both parties involved, however it was often manipulated and corrupt during the 15th and 16th centuries.

According to Erasmus how are monks behaving in ways contrary to the teachings of Jesus Christ
artcher [175]

Answer:

As per Erasmus, the monks were, without a doubt, grimy, uninformed, and a plague on the Catholic Church and the individuals upon whom they sustained. In 1432, they did not think in holy places. The Monks were the unlawful pastorate currently supplanted by non-celibate priests. Jesus said that the specialists of the Law remove the way to learning, so Dunning is in the class to which Jesus would not talk except for in parables. The monks were the evangelists whose messages were discussed through repetition and who might not peruse because they could not read the Word.
