The answer to this question is an edition. A group of identical prints is called an edition.

EXPLANATION

A group of identical prints is called an edition. A group of identical prints means that the same image is printed again and again to create multiples of them. The identical prints are printed from a fixed matrix. An edition is a printed image on purpose. It can’t be called an edition if artist’s proofs are sometimes getting printed to check the consistency of it.

This whole process of printing is called screen printing. Screenprinting is also known as silk screen printing, which is another planographic method. The matrix material is from the metal frame or wood stretched out with nylon or silk. Images that are created with light-sensitive emulsion or stencils to prevent and avoid the tendency for the ink to travel through the screen.

The ink is forced through the screen onto the surface with a squeeze. These silkscreen images are opposed to intaglio, relief, or lithography prints because silkscreen images are right-reading. The result is the matrix's mirror image.

To use another word, screen printing is basically a technique where a mesh is going to be used to transfer ink to another substrate, except in some areas that have already been marked with a blocking stencil.

A squeegee or a blade is moved across so it will fill the open mesh apertures with ink. Another reverse stroke can cause the screen to touch the substrate momentarily. This act causes the ink to make the substrate wet and be pulled out of the mesh apertures. One certain color is printed one at a time, so several screens can be used to make a multicolored design or image.
