1: I don't know what poems this question is about but I'll help anyway
2: they use adjectives to describe a person, place, or thing.
3: they use a rhyme scheme ex: in Swift Things are Beautiful it follows the scheme: ABCBDEFE which has the same rhyme scheme in the 2nd stanza and each letter represent a line of the poem that rhymes and as you can see it repeats B and E in two lines. Or they use multiple words that start with the same letter, ex: Sally Sells Seashells by the Seashore, there is a repetition of the letter S.
4: like I said in 3 they follow a rhyme scheme which every line has a different letter for what rhymes with what. They work together to create a theme by describing the setting, rhyming it in any way (same letters, rhyme schemes etc...) and repetition is used to make the rhyme scheme work.

An author writes the following paragraph for an argumentative essay:
Wewaii [24]
The excerpt mainly focuses on the general idea that television has a bad influence on children, so I would say the best answer choice is "television has a bad influence on children." It doesn't focus too much on the three types of shows, but otherwise that would be the second best answer. Let me know which one is correct, but I believe it's B.

Which uses the correct modifiers for formal writing?
Rudik [331]
The correct answer is the first option - <span>We all wanted to win so badly that we were practically willing the ball through the hoop.
You should write 'badly' and not 'bad' because you need to use the adverb rather than the adjective to modify the verb 'to win.' To use the adjective 'bad' here is really colloquial (and grammatically incorrect) so it cannot be used in formal writing, but rather only in informal speech.
