Mormonism is the religious tradition of Latter Day Saint movement, and believers are usually referred to as Mormons. Joseph Smith is its founder and founded the movement in New York State in 1820s. The teachings of the group, like nature of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, divine nature of Joseph Smith, teachings about Cosmology, plural marriages, new additions to the Bible through the Book of Mormon, exclusion of Black men into priesthood, sealing ceremonies to allow righteous men to become gods, and polygamy are very conflicting to the societal and religious norms. These practices caused trouble to the fledgling movement wherever they go.

In the space below, write an outline in which you respond to the following prompt:
crimeas [40]

Answer:

Because science, art and culture flourished

Explanation:

The Renaissance is a period of flourishing in the field of culture, science and art, which is characteristic for the period from the end of the 14th to the end of the 16th century. Higher availability of books and study of ancient writers gradually change people's awareness of themselves and the environment that surrounds them.

Numerous wars and an unstable political situation also reflected changes in the Catholic Church whose authority was shaken. Changes were also triggered by geographical discoveries, which, in addition to the exchange of cultures and the development of science, also encouraged eurocentrism, which led to the economic and therefore demographic recovery of the Old Continent at the expense of the New.

Most of the population lives in the countryside, but the population in cities is increasing rapidly. With the greater influx of wealth, the image of society changes with emergence of the middle class and by strengthening the influence of citizenship.

WILL GIVE A BRANLIEST
svlad2 [7]

From the given list, we can single out the following actions which turned sports into a national pastime:

- Americans attended games;

- They followed teams in the newspaper;

- They read about teams in magazine reports;

- They listened to games on the radio.

In fact, this period (1920s) was called The Golden Age of American Sports or in some books it is called the Age of the Spectator. In many ways, this sudden raise of popularity of sports was due to the stable economy of the USA during that decade. Workers happened to have more leisure time and they had decent earnings. Thus, they could afford to pay money for entertaintment and various sports competitions.

Next, write a half-page essay comparing and contrasting a modern song and musician you admire with one of the songs you listened
Wittaler [7]

Answer:

Traditional music and modern music have many differences but they also have some similarities. Nowadays, besides developing modern music, the preservation and development of traditional music play a very important part in musical life in Vietnam.

Explanation:

Types of music are many and all musicians play and compose various types of music. It is not difficult to know about popular contemporary musicians nowadays. However, “how to distinguish between contemporary musicians and folk musicians in the past” is a hard question to answer. This essay will discuss their similarities, their differences and how music is evolving in Vietnam.

Traditional/folk music and modern music have a few similarities. Traditional music was similar to how life was, during the time period. Modern music shows emotion or describes people in everyday life. Folk musicians play from memory. They've learned music through hearing others play it. Contemporary musicians also can be influenced by older musicians or artists from a bygone era. However, they play music by the notes.

The first difference is about the musical instruments. There are many different kinds of instruments. Contemporary musicians play modern instruments. In modern music you notice the instruments but pay attention to the lyrics of the songs. Folk musicians play traditional instruments. Listening to classical music you may notice more instruments playing. Another difference is the musicians’ income. The income for a professional contemporary musician can be huge when being a folk musician will never make them rich.

Music plays a major role in Vietnamese life. Vietnamese music history is long and complex. It was handed down from one generation to another. Traditional Vietnamese music is highly diverse, combining native and foreign influences. Its history has been impacted by the musical tradition from China, Korea , and Japan… Songs written by popular musicians were heard by a great number of people through the radio, TV, internet... Song writers were also able to capture many aspects of life and share them with the public. Music had a major impact on people’s life, politicians, and the public during the Vietnam history .

Traditional music and modern music have many differences but they also have some similarities. Nowadays, besides developing modern music, the preservation and development of traditional music play a very important part in musical life in Vietnam.

APEX HELP

what was one of the first things gerald ford did when he became president
Gre4nikov [31]

Answer:

Shortly after taking office, Ford pardoned Nixon for any crimes he may have committed as president. The presidential pardon meant that Nixon would never have to face criminal charges over his involvement in the Watergate scandal. Ford’s decision generated a swirl of controversy.

Explanation:

Millions of Americans wanted to see the disgraced former president brought to justice. Some critics charged that Ford issued the pardon as part of a pre-arranged deal to reach the Oval Office. But Ford insisted that the nation’s future hinged on ending the ordeal of Watergate and beginning the process of healing.
