The Panic of 1893 was brought about by two primary reasons. What were they? Lower tariffs made it more difficult for American co

mpanies to sell abroad. A run on the Federal reserves of gold caused supplies to become low. Too many people bought items on credit and were unable to pay it back. A number of railroads became financially overextended and went bankrupt.

In which of the following regions of the United States would organic-farming practices LEAST likely be found? (3 points)
aalyn [17]

The correct answer is - I and III.

The Northwestern United States and the Southwestern United States are the least likely, in general, to be engaged in organic agricultural production. The likes of New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona, that form the southwestern region are one of the states where the production of organic food is the smallest. The northwestern region on the other hand, is more diverse, with Montana and Idaho being bellow the average in organic production, Oregon being at the average, and Washington being in one of the biggest organic producers, but as a whole, the region is predominantly bellow average in the organic production.

In what way does Luther’s letter support the point of view of the historian in source b
rosijanka [135]
I've seen this question before -- I'm guessing you're working with a chapter on European Renaissance and Reformation that featured a secondary source (source B) reference from historian Steve Ozment. In document A, from a letter to the pope sent by Martin Luther, Luther accused the Roman Catholic Church of having become a den of thieves, that the whole hierarchy needed reform. That early letter (from 1520) supports Ozment's claim that Luther's Reformation movement began as a protest against "arbitrary, self-aggrandizing hierarchical authority" in the church.

The Fireside Chats were a series of broadcasts transmited via radio, that President Franklin D. Roosevelt did to speak about issues like unemployment and economy and to keep the American people informed about the situation of the nation. President Roosevelt transmited this broadcasts from 1933 to 1944, and gave people trusted his leadership because he kept them informed, this type of leadership is why President Franklin D. In this excerpt Roosevelt demonstrated qualities like communication, self-confidence and goal setting because he assured people that both farm prices and unemployment were taking care of, and that assured that the plan would work.
