Incident details: I witnessed an incident that happened yesterday morning in front of my class. I saw a crowd gathered around and I went to have a closer look and know what the commotion was all about.
Behold, it was Sandra Gabriel who happens to be my classmate that was assaulting a frail-looking male junior student and taunting him. I tried to step in and stop the assault but because of the thickness of the crowd, I was unable to, and unfortunately, the crowd was having fun and no one wanted to stop the madness. I was unable to get the name of the junior student that was assaulted.
He might respond by resenting by being called a burden by people who are stealing his land. In the poem, kipling is actually addressing the United States and its colonization of the philipines. I don't know how you could pick anything out of those choices. The first stanza if you look back a couple of lines, refers to Telemachus (his son). He pays proper homage and kindness to those who honor the gods. Ulysses is very proud of him for doing that.
The second stanza is about the men he sails with who are brave, meeting any challenge through good times and bad (sunshine and thunder). They are free men and they are "stout" meaning that they are real stand up kinds of men ready to go.
The last sentence is about death which the old look forward to.
