Religion plays a large part in shaping the different cultural regions of the world. Central and South Asia, East Asia, and Southeast Asia share some of the same religions and religious history, though none of them is a distinct cultural region. In what ways are the religions of these Asian regions culturally similar to one another? In what ways are the regions culturally different due to religion?

I would think that it is primarily in the message and teachings of these religions that share something in common. They all preach the same message of love and brotherhood to their followers and that they should be kind to one another and that they should always do good deeds for the people around them. I think it's safe to say that they are a works based religion.

Answer:   So, the belief and teachings of the religions here share some similarities.  Even though there are many religions in every one of these regions, what is common is,  they preach the message of love and brotherhood to their believers. They say, all should be kind to others, and that they should always do the right things for the people around them.
