Answer:

C). Martinique is summarizing the article.

Explanation:

The statement that is true about Martinique would be that 'she is summarizing the article that she has read' which is reflected by the description of her 'briefly stating the general ideas of the article'. Summarizing is associated with the concise form of the central ideas or major points of the work that she is doing which would assist her not only in memorizing but also in employing these points in context to develop an argument. Thus, option C is the correct answer as it truly describes and justifies her action.

CaHeK987 [17]

Answer:

Not 100% sure about this answer, but I know you need it because this is the second time you have asked this question (that I have seen).

I think Frank should tell the student that keeps on interrupting the other speaker to stop interrupting and wait his turn. He/she probably wouldn't want people interrupting him/her so he/she should pay them the same respects.

Hope this helps!

In one or two paragraphs of a minimum of 150 words, describe how Edgar Allan Poe’s poem “The Bells” uses figurative language to
siniylev [52]

Answer:

Edgar Allan Poe created the poem "The Bells" to describe them using stylistic devices. Look down below for the answer as this is a space for short answers.

Explanation:

Three different elements show how Edgar Allan Poe used figurative language to develop his poem "The Bells". First of all, "The Bells" is a poem that describes the sound of different types of bells, as much as the general idea allowed him to think about all types of bells and represent them in the poem. Second, once he has thought and analyzed the different characteristic sounds of each type he makes comparisons, similes, and imagery are the most used elements in the poem. Third, after trying to identify them, he describes them in what is his best "shot" to be understood by the reader. Then, he repeats different elements, scenes, and objects to compare them and differentiate one type from the other. One major factor here is that he uses his knowledge and learning to transmit his idea. That might not be perfect but is complete, because he described them so hard by comparing them to common objects that the reader can understand his point of view easily.
